Earning, Blogging, Tips and More: I Won A Free BizzHost Web Hosting For One Year

  • inkapoint · 5 months ago
The way you wrote here is really a disappointing one. Tech @ InkAPoint in association with BizzHost encouraged all those participants other than winners by giving a consolation prize and we didn't even quote about that consolation prizes during the announcement of our contest.

And regarding your words about Wordpress and 1 MySQL Db, I am surprised how you don't even know about Wordpress at all. "That's only one MySQL Database and WordPress needs more" - Who told you like that. Wordpress needs only one DB.

And you can upgrade your web hosting account at any time by contacting BizzHost and BizzHost plans are India's cheapest one and their server uptime is all time high.

For your information, I had one website from 2007 to 2008 with a 100MB web space and 1GB BW and 1 MySQL DB and I managed to take that website into Alexa ranking of 1.41 lacs and that's the real success. Innovate something and implement.

You blamed us in all words and then finally thanked us. It's really disappointing.

    Thanks for your support.

Ei I'm sorry. I'm not blaming you for anything. Anyways, I wrote this so I could ask suggestion from people about what to do with the prize I got. And how come I couldn't install WP, Drupal or Joomla? My bad. But it says I have to upgrade the database. It says:

You have reached the maximum of allowed MySQL databases. Fantastico can not proceed with installations until you upgrade your account or reduce the number of used databases (for example by uninstalling a script).

Err, I don't know how's that. I am thinking about it being a Fantastico error.

Anyways, I'm sorry if you were offended. I'm not saying anything bad about the contest, Bizzhost or at Tech @ Inkapoint. I even said that I'm the stupid one, right? This is my experience and my bad about the 1 mysql database. I'm still finding out about the source of error.

What I said about the last paragraph is true and I don't take that back even after this.

Nope. That MySQL problem is not because of Fantastico. Once you have tried to install Wordpress means a DB will be created. So in your Cpanel, under the "Databases" section, go to "MySQL Databases" and delete that DB. After then you can install Joomla.

And regarding such technical issues, feel free to contact Bizzhost team. In my 8 years of web experience, I still have to find one technical team which may be better than their team.

They will be available at any time. Even you can call them.

Thanks for your support to us.

I uninstalled all the databases but still I get the same error. I'm trying to install WP manually now.

Sorry for the disappointment. And thanks for the prize.

In Cpanel, go to Fantastico and then select Wordpress. then remove the wordpress packaged that you have tried to install already and try to install Joomla. If the problem still exists, immediately drop a mail to BizzHost.

    Hello Bryan,

My name is Vivek and I am a sales & support manager at BizzHost.com. One of my favorite passtime is snooping around the net for people talking about us(BizzHost) and knowing them better and helping anyone who is for some reason is in a difficult position managing their sites hosted with us.

And this is how I reached your site.

I believe you are facing some difficulty in installing and uninstalling WP script via Fantastico.

Bryan, I think WP is the only script is this world which is most easily installed. Infact the makers of WP take pride in giving just one step installer and literally it is.

But when installing WP via fantastico you must remember that you should have one database free for the installer to make a backend DB.

secondly, for any reason you have to uninstall the script, please make sure you do it via fantastico only, as this will give you a clean uninstall including database. If you go via deleting the folder and files, you may miss removing the database and this causes an issue while reinstalling the blog via fantastico again.

If you have any queries or need any kind of help, you are welcome to write to us anytime at supportdesk[at]bizzhost dot com or contact our tecg support via http://support.bizzhost.com. We would be glad to help you.

Moreover you can always upgrade your plan with us anytime. Though we are an India based company, but our servers are located at "THE BEST" Datacenters in US. Our Servers are at 'The Planet, SingleHop and RackSpace'. So rest assured that your hosting is safe and at level with big names of the hosting industry.
