I just hope they
are true to what they announce or say. So you say that Bluehost is better
than Globat? I am no expert on this one so it would be best and I would be
grateful if you point out the major differences between the two. I know
Bluehost gives high quality hosting but the prices seem to be a bit high. Is
Globat worth the affordability? Thanks Mike. :)

Re: Globat's GX01: Affordable Web Hosting

Globat has a history of upgrading your service for a price, usually about $49.95, where they act like they are doing you a favor and you have to opt out in order to keep from having to pay for this upgrade that you don't need.

On the other hand, they've recently had a change in management, according to a recent e-mail from Gloat: "Globat has been acquired by a new management team, who are positioned to provide you with a superior Web hosting experience. Your account will soon be migrated to a high performing and reliable hosting platform...."

I don't know if the new "management team" will continue the past policy of opt-out upgrades. I hope so.

Other than that, I've been generally satisfied with Globat, though most of our material is on Bluehost.
